The reason is that this instrument is able to register, compare and evaluate the findings much more exactly. The tomography is painless and without any danger. It takes about 10 minutes.
The recordings are taken using harmless laserrays. There is no visual impairment afterwards. The method being new, there is no reimbursement from the Krankenkasse. It has to be paid privately. The private insurance companies usually do reimburse the expenses.
