IgeL means Individual Health services. Services offered by docters to patients. These services are not paid for by the Krankenkassen, The patient has to pay for it.

- Glaucoma prevention
(An important aspect of prevention would be the regular tonometry. The BVA suggests every 2 years if you are over 40. This preventive service is not paid for by the KK. You have to pay for it yourself. If you have questions, please feel free to ask us.) - Prevention of macular degeneration
