  • the retina, among other things the bordering of retinal holes with laser coagulates to prevent retinal detachment
  • the treatment of diabetic retinopathy
  • high ocular pressure (glaucoma

Or Yag laser therapy in which – without opening the eye – structures in the eye can be disrupted like for instance posterior capsular opacification.
